We are looking for a experienced, multi-skilled Bench Joiner & Cabinet Maker to join our small, friendly, highly skilled team.

You’ll need joinery/cabinet making experience either as bench or site joiner. Finishing laminates and veneers with solid surfaces experience an advantage.

This is a great opportunity for a positive, self-motivated individual with a high level of finishing skills, who is keen to using their own initiative.

PROFILE

Machine, assembly, finish and installation

• Experience in setting up and operating field workshop machinery
• Competent with workshop machinery an advantage
• Ability to read drawings, create own cutting lists for setting-out and production

Team and individual bespoke projects

• Work within a team in a workshop environment and independently if working alone
• Work in an efficient, organised and tidy manner
• A good eye for detail
• Produce work to a high standard
• Driving licence and car a must as there is no public transport nearby

Required Certification (or equivalent)

• At least 5 years of experience working as either a cabinet maker making bespoke pieces or site joinery

In addition these would be a great asset:

• Woodwork Machinery: 5 years minimum
• Level 1 Certificate in Basic Construction Skills (options in cabinet making)
• Level 2 Diploma in Furniture Making
• Level 2 Diploma in Construction Crafts
• Level 2 Diploma in Furniture Installation
• Level 2 (NVQ) Diploma in Fitted Furniture and Interiors
• Level 3 Diploma in Furniture Design and Making
