Porchester Business Centre – Reception Desk

An empty bank premises sparked a major £1million construction project by Porchester Business Centre to gain additional space to offer a wide selection of affordable serviced offices including managed office suites, meeting rooms and virtual offices.

Total Design Joinery was asked to build and install a reception desk to complement this major refurbishment.

The desk included the following specifics:

• Overall size – 3000mm w x 1100mm dp x 1220mm h, as per the design drawing
• Counter top and low-level worktop to be manufactured using 38mm MDF, incl ABS edging
• Counter front carcass to be manufactured using 18mm Premium White laminate, with ABS edging to match, including 2400mm x 110mm x 95mm recessed panel with RAL 2010 Signal Orange glass to rear face
• Counter carcass units incl doors manufactured using 18mm Premium White laminate with ABS edging, with recessed handles to drawers
• Counter top, counter front, and side panel only, laminated using White Coloured core laminate
• Low-level worktop, u/s counter top, and side panel only, laminated using Premium White laminate
